TUDUHAN ADANYA TAHRIF AL-QUR`AN DAN SANGGAHANNYA

Abstract

The issue of Tahrif (change) in the Qur'an has actually appeared in the intellectual arena of Muslims since centuries ago. Today, although the issue is no longer widely discussed, there are still some Muslims who raise it as a discourse that deserves attention. This is because the position of the Qur'an as the Holy Book of Muslims which functions as a guide applies throughout the ages, and indeed must be eternal and unchanging. Therefore, the issue of changes in it will certainly cause a fairly critical response. This paper is focused on discussing issues related to Tahrif in the Qur'an. The problems studied are those related to understanding, analysis of the kinds and possibilities of Tahrif (change). The study of each issue is done critically and analytically, so that the deepening and understanding of the problem being presented can be done carefully and well.
