EPISTEMOLOGI FENOMENOLOGI DALAM WACANA TAFSIR

Abstract

An This article aims to test the feasibility of phenomenological theory to be used as an approach in understanding the holy book al-Qur'an. So, to explore understanding of phenomenology, it is necessary to look at the train of thought of figures such as Edmund Husserl, Martin Heiddegger and Merleau Ponty. By using qualitative methods that are library research, it was found that not everything that phenomenology offers can be applied in the study of interpretation because the Qur'an as an object of study is believed not to be the result of human work but is a divine revelation for humanity.
